Holistic Wellness Favs to Stay Healthy

You probably already know that I’m allll about clean products. And that’s not just for what I put on my face, but also what we use in our home, on our bodies, and IN our bodies!! 

We don’t take a lot of medicine when we’re feeling under the weather & we pay a lot of attention to what we eat and do when sickness is spreading around us. 

If your family has been sick recently or you’re worried that your kids are going to bring a bug home any day now, I feel you! Here’s a few things we do to ensure we can stay healthy and fight sickness quickly:

Consistent Sleep & Hydration

Sleep and water might sound like such simple things to help keep us healthy, but they are SO powerful!!! Going to bed and waking up at the same time allows our body to get consistent rest. And while we sleep is when our bodies do the most healing!

So in order to heal well and stay healthy, sleep is a priority. Not to mention, going to sleep and waking up at the same time every day is important for our hormone regulation as women! Sleep for the win 🙌🏼

And, we all know that water is good for us. But it can feel hard to drink a lot of water every day, especially when it’s not as hot outside! One of our families favorite ways to get in more water is to drink it with LMNT. We call this “salty water” and the electrolytes help our bodies stay more hydrated and flush out toxins that are holding us back (get the guide to see LMNT). 

Whole Foods

Sugar feeds sickness! So it’s always been a priority for me to prioritize eating whole foods and making sure my kiddos are doing the same. But especially when sickness is going around or we start to feel stuffy, we kick it into high gear! 

We avoid sugar and processed foods like chips, takeout, desserts, etc. and focus on eating high protein meals and lots of whole fruits and veggies. 

And to increase our vitamins even more, I have a few favorite clean products that give us vitamins and help us detox any toxins holding us back (like Vitamin D salve)! 

Homeopathic Remedies

Food, water, and sleep are all free and amazing ways to stay healthy and heal your body. And if you’re looking for a little extra something to heal faster or avoid whatever nasty things are passing through the preschool, I have some favs!! 

Of course you can trust that these products have passed my high bar for clean & healthy ingredients AND these have been tested by not just me, but my husband and kiddos!
